Default Starting issue

So my lifan a25-2 takes forever to start. I've learned the trick to it but it shouldn't be this bad, its gonna kill my starter and drains the battery soon much. The process is to choke it and crank for about 20-30 seconds, set to 3/4 choke while cranking and pump throttle several times till I get a few pops them switch back to full choke and hold WOT for another 10-15 seconds before it'll fire. Doesn't work every time but usually. Once started it will die immediately unless I turn off the choke. Runs great at that point with no warm up needed. Will die if choke put on after warmed also. And even if warmed up and riding for 20 min as soon as I shut if off, the process is the same to start. What's going on? P.s. the carb is brand new and a/f set to best performance.

Do a compression test, bad starting is often due to low compression, it should be above 90psi. If it is down, check valve clearances.
