been buying a Mad Max Quad 250cc 16 reg, been taken to a garage and they need to know the needle settings for the jets and a supplier in the UK for the parts .. help would be appreciated

Just googled it and you may have trouble. The makers have a website Eglmoto - MAD MAX 250CC EEC ATV,Atv 250cc Eec Quad Bike but no UK dealers. Engine is listed as a 250 water cooled Zongshen, which is probably a clone of a 250 Honda motorcycle engine, Your local motorcycle workshop may have experience on the Honda versions, if not Zongshens. Carbs will also be either Kehin or Mikuni clones. Funbikes are selling Mad-Max quads, which is probably where yours came from, but they used to sell Buyangs with almost zero spares back up, so I don't expect they are any better on Mad-Maxes. The garage should have known better than to mess with the jet settings by the way. remove and clean them out with an air line without altering the needle settings.
