Coolster 150 fuel issue brand new
#1
Bought 2 new Coolsters from a local market yesterday. Got it home and the 150cc won’t run. It will start with starting fluid but there’s an issue with the carburetor. The guy who sold them to me is in the hospital and I have kids wanting to ride. Can anyone give me some ideas on fixing this?
weve checked everything that we’ve seen online videos. We can start it with starting fluid and if we hold throttle wide open it runs, as soon as we let go of the throttle it dies. Then won’t start.
This was new never used before. We put premium gas in it. oil is good. My husband has been trying to fix it since we brought it home. Need some help. Thank you!

Sounds like an issue with the carburetor. Try cleaning or adjusting it. Check the fuel shutoff valve. Check the fuel line to see if it's kinked or bent. Did it have old gas in it? if so, it might be bad. Check for any air leaks on the engine.
