I was given an alpha sports mini cobra 50 cc that was no start no crank. I replaced the battery and went through and cleaned the carb and drained old gas but still nothing, when I turn the key on I get nothing and when I try the kick start I get nothing, what else can I try? Is there a way to bypass the safety switches?

 

Check the earth wires. Then the thin positive, usually red, this goes from battery to fuse to ignition switch, so check power is getting to switch. However most ignition systems are AC so you should be getting a spark at the plug using the kick start if it is AC ignition. When using the kick start you already by-pass all the safety switches, except kill switch(es).
