I have a 2006 Buyang 300 atv and previous owner apparently switched engine with a 250cc. I have a blown head gasket or cracked head and I am trying to find parts. The engine tag says 2007 FA-D250A, can anyone tell me where to find parts or what other engines are compatible for parts?

 

Firstly, are you sure someone has swapped engines? Chinese makers have a habit of sticking a smaller engine in the bike than they claim on the tank sticker, I suspect if they run out of the correct size engine, they will stick a smaller on in if it looks the same. Googled FAD250 and it come up as a Buyang engine in US emissions legislation. Anyway, looks like a Loncin 250 engine, so probably a Honda clone. Trouble is copies are not always exact, I had difficulties getting a head gasket for a 150cc GY6 engine, as that particular Chinese maker used different dimensions to all other GY6 engine makers.
