I have a 150cc. No idea the brand. I cannot get the electric start to start the motor the kill switch works on the electric start mechanism. The way I’m starting the quad is by arching the solenoid and starts right up. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Does the solenoid make a click when you press the start button? If yes, then almost certain to be a faulty solenoid. If you want to double check, connect an incandescent test lamp between starter motor live cable and earth, switch on, press start button, if solenoid clicks and lamp doesn't light, faulty solenoid. If solenoid isn't clicking it is often the lock-out at fault, either a brake needs to be on or bike in neutral for starter to work, so check neutral light and/or brake light are on when you are starting.
