fox 70 owner's thread

Wanted to open this as I bought the fox 70.
TOPIC 1) clutch not set correctly as purchased: it will not even move the tires when stopped on the slightest GRASS hill with my 62lb daughter riding.
NOTE IT IS PERFECT ON FLAT GROUND.
Please don't point me to the throttle adjust screw as that is obvious and already removed.
FIX searching: I am an engineer trying to learn how to fix this issue.
Question: seems the clutch is not engaging enough thus it just BOGGS OUT ?? So the adjustment screw would need to be backed off, ie turned counterclockwise?
2) sprockets: I don't need it to set land speed records for my daughter. I forget the front sprocket size but the rear is 37 tooth. I may go up to a 43 or larger for more torque.
Question: can somebody reply WHERE to BUY replacement sprockets that fit the fox 70?
I will post whatever I can find along with any success and failures to resolve these.
Please add any fox70 topics to this thread for the rest of us owners to share/discuss.

I just looked up the Fox 70. It looks like it's got the Chinese clone of a Honda motor. You can get the sprockets on eBay or Amazon. There are several videos on YouTube about clutch adjustment on Chinese atv or dirt bikes. Clutch may be worn and need replacement.

I also have fox 70. Same issue when I bought mine. Carb needs adjusted for sure. But the oil they come with new needs changed ASAP! It ruined a brand new clutch on mine. Change oil cheapest and best I’ve found is valvoline blue bottle the atv says wet clutch right on front. The clutch on these motors doesn’t adjust much. If any I could tell a better change after backing off throttle stop all the way. Cut header and put a Amazon slip on exhaust and a k and n style air filter on it. May have to re jet carb depending where You live. I also recommend going to local machine shop with one rear hub and rim and having the fab you some wheel spacers. Got 1.5 inch aluminum spacers for each side because these Foxs are more narrow on rear than front and very tipsy at speed
