2022 Kayo Bull200
#1
Recently while riding my Kayo Bull the machine died out of the blue. Lost all power to the control panel, ignition ect. When I remove a battery wire then reinstall it the dash lights up momentarily then goes out again. This happens with the key in either the start position or the Off position? Have tried looking for shorts in the connections but could find nothing. Any suggestions? Possible loss of Ground? Update as of Oct 15,2023... Located the Problem I think: Took the dash panel loose, wiggled the connections going into the key switch. Apparently there was a bad connection in the plug connecting the key switch to the harness! Took the connector apart and cleaned it with contact cleaner. Put it back together, seems to be OK for now. Before replacing the harness into the machine I wrapped the connectors in a plastic bag and zip tied them.Hopefully this will serve to reduce the amount of moisture the connectors are subjected to, reducing corrosion ect.

Probably one of the thick wires from battery. Either an earth or the main positive to ignition switch, via main fuse. Make sure battery connections and earths are clean and tight. Check main fuse for bad connections. Check ignition switch is working properly.
