Default Chinese quad starting issue

I’ve searched everywhere I can’t find anything to help me with my problem. My son has a Vitacci Pentora 125 ATV the battery is new I just replaced the starter solenoid we can push it off in gear and it will crank or roll it down a hill and jump start it that way but it will not crank with the push button. But when we ride for a little bit my son can turn it off and most of the time it will fire up with the button but that only happens when the engine is warm but not every time someone please help me or give some suggestions to try it was bought brand new a year ago.

"it will not crank with the push button."

Unfortunately, the above statement will mean two totally different things to different people. It literally means the engine won't turn on the starter, but in some parts of the US it is used to mean the engine will turn but not run. We need to know which you mean.

The starter will turn the motor over but will not crank but you can put it in gear and push it by hand and jump start it that way

Usually a sign of low compression when a bike will start from a tow but not on the starter. If compression is below 90psi, try adjusting the valve clearance. If this is too tight it drops compression just enough to make a bike bad to start. If compression is OK then the starter may be going too slow, due to a bad thick wire connection on either earth or starter wires. Or the starter clutch could be slipping enough to make the crank turn too slowly. It can be a "lazy" starter but this is rare, most either work fine or not at all.
