Hey everyone, I purchased this Chinese squad and hopes of fixing but I am currently stuck. Originally the old owner said that they had an issue holding a charge and the battery that came with it was dead so I bought a new battery. I also purchased a whole new wiring kit that included a new regulator, starter, relay and etc. I installed everything but all I'm getting is a clicking sound from the starter relay. I jumped the relay with the screwdriver and it still clicked. So I figured the starter would be bad and I replaced the starter. I still get the same issue even when I jump the relay. Any tips would be greatly appreciated along with if you guys know the possible style of this Chinese quad.

 

Tyres are on backwards, swap LH wheels with RH ones. Make sure the earths from battery to frame, and to engine are good. It is not always as easy as people think to get good contact when you jump the solenoid, you were not jumping it properly if it clicked anyway, as jumping the thick wires bypasses it entirely. If you then do get the starter turning, swap the solenoid for the old one, as the new one must be a dud.
