As per the diagrams that I have found yes the pinouts are correct. If you have a diagram handy that you know is correct send it my way and I'll compare it but I'm pretty sure they are where they're supposed to be

Check the AC output from the CDI to coil when engine is spun over. This should be quite high, often over 100v, so avoid a shock. As I wrote above, are you sure the pinouts are correct for that CDI?

the stator putting out 60 volts when the CDI is unplugged but plugged in it puts out 30ish, isn't an issue?

I don't know, I never check with the wires connected to the CDI. I mostly work on Hondas and their wiring plugs are sealed, so you need them unplugged to do tests. Check the pinout compared to the bike you tried the CDI on, as you said it worked on that bike.

Interesting, whatever that diagram is for, it has a single phase alternator. Also power coil is shown as earthed but trigger coil isn't, though it wouldn't work if it wasn't as it shows a single blue/white to CDI.

Every day I get more confused. I believe I found at least a red flag if I'm remembering correctly I'm getting continuity between both wires to the coil and ground I will go verify in a little bit and get back to you tonight

The green wire to coil is earth. The Black/yellow comes from CDI, not sure if that would show as earthed or not. Put AC voltmeter between them, spin engine on starter and see what volts you get.

Okay I am getting 26 volts DC at the black and white wire coming out of the CDI box. 30 volts ac while cranking coming out of the red and black wire. Nothing coming out of the CDI to the coil black and yellow wire. Also whenever I test for continuity between both wires on the coil and ground, I have it.....

I'm thinking so I don't understand how this could have 26 volts anywhere. I'm going to take this CDI box and plug it into my buddy's bike and see if it runs tomorrow hopefully
