Default Polaris SP450 Radiator (2006) For sale

All -

Just kicking the tires here to see if there is any
interest in a Polaris Sportsman 2006 450
stock radiator? I will post pics if I see interest.

Short story:
While attempting to install/mount my Glacier
Plow system, removed piece for bottom skid
plate, front end dropped down, couldn't get
screw back in original hole, needed to lift front
end somehow? My Dad was assisting with the
installation, sticking flat head screw driver in
available slots above, to pry uo when..
BAAMM..., antifreeze everywhere. Engine not
running nor DID after this happened.

Damaged fins on both sides (bottom left and
right). Easyily REPAIRABLE!! (Per Polaris thread
members, after interest and view of the Pics
you be the judge)

FYI, am not a welder nor have the experitise for the
fix, didn't want to hunt my town for an honest
Rad repair shop or welder etc. I just bought the
replacement for close to $400 bucks (shipping
included). A little painful learning experience, but
gave my DAD chance to redeem himself with
replacing the old with new, easy install.

To those who weld and tinker and are in need of
a repairable RAD to avoid full cost of replacement
may have interest. Let me know, I can post link
to my RAD pics or email them, whichever! I will
set a price depending on reply interest, guys
in the Polaris forums recommended me NOT to
scrap there are potential buyers out there especially
when the tank/core only few months old all in
good condition minus the bent/damaged fins in
front the led to the leak, break out your tools if
this one serves your interest.

Much obliged!

Cap -

Yea, you are telling me and there is no
third party/aftermarket rads that I found
that were an alternative. Most were more
expensive cause of new mod'd features.

Even getting it welded up is a task at hand
thus why I did not repair it. But other people
with their towns know honest mechanics or
have friends/family and could make it a
garage male BS session with a few brewski's
and then a finished product w/rad repair.

I wish that could be me? I'll quit my whining
I ran my quad a few weeks back with the
new RAD, all good to go!
