The second motor is the one I am rebuilding for the 1st bike. The first one is still in the frame and not tore down yet(reed cage is out is all) I still need to pull that motor and see how bad it is. The 1st motor is still pending on how bad it is damaged. My guess is pretty bad but I'll keep you informed.

No. The one I am rebuilding is for my GF's little girl. The other one maybe. I am going to TRY and swap them this afternoon. If I can, I will; tear the bad one down and see what is damaged and let you know. That's IF I get time. I'll try.

 

The motor is out and torn down. It did have water in the counterbalance area. The piston is shattered(Stock piston). The crankcases have cracks and one spot broke through. Crank bearings are bad. All gears have rust. The water pump shaft appears that it could be cleaned and reused.

I figured this motor was going to be in real bad shape thats why I bought the second one. IF you want it, you will have to rebuild it. I don't have time. It will also be shipped as a basket case, im not putting it back together. It will have everything there to do the motor. There will not be however, the carb, exhaust, boot to the clutch cooling tube, etc.

Hey yall...can you make room for 1 more in the Igot a 400 2stroke with a shattered stock piston and a broke crank case club??Not sure what I'm going to do yet...find another motor or part out....polaris23 how much did the new motor cost?? I been looking for a used crankcase but havent found one...was told they make thes in one piece and then cut them and they dont come with the seals/o-rings....will post on this thread again when I find out what I'm going to do...If I do part out keep me on your pm list cause I'll have alot of good parts to sell, carb, rear rack, frame, new rotors,axles, s-swamper tires, repair manual etc....
