2005 Sportsman 500 HO $1,850 (Parts or Repair)
I bought this about 2 months ago with intetions of it being the one I use the hunting season. I have since found another one that needed nothing, and I haven't had the time to get back on this one. There are photos on Memphis CL and here is my ad details.

"Update - 9/15/12: Buy it for parts or to repair. I don't have time to work on it and I need the space back. It has a brand new battery and carb has been rebuilt.
It's an easy project on this 2005 Polaris 4wd ATV that could be done in a day... which I don't currently have the spare day. I'll get back to it around October, but wanted to see if I could free up some cash and space. Fires up with starter fluid, and does need a battery ($75 & 5 mins). I just put on another rear left axle and bearing, and I was told the front differential needs replacing, which I have along with spare A-frames & axles. Other than that it needs the carb cleaned ($5 & 1 hour) and some of the plastic bolted down (15 mins). I plan on re-spraying ($30 & 1 hour) or even camo wrapping ($125 & 2-4 hours) the plastic before bolting down, due to the obvious purple sun fade. It would be a nice $4k+ ATV for almost half that and a few hours. If you're experienced then I would plan on a day, if you're not then a weekend."
