To get to the river at Purcell.
Once you get to the train station, turn right (south) and follow the gravel road for about 1/2 mile.
You will then cross over the tracks (It's pretty obvious where, as that's all you can do), and go back north for about a mile...Or park and unload right there.
There is an area where the gravel road seems to end where there is enough room to park and unload, or you can drive another 100 yards or so, and turn off to the right (through the trees about 50 yards) and park right on the river bottom.
...Or, you can park at/by the depot, unload, and just ride from there.
Hope that made a sense, and helped a little.

Thanks Mike,
I thought that might be the way, but all the NO TRESSPASSING signs got my attention.
Back in the seventies we rode Motorcycles in the river from Interstate 40 to Purcell. Can you still ride that distance or do you run into private property concerns.
There was an area south of Norman where the college kids had nude parties. OH! for the good old days.

Okay you Z-400 and KFX 400 riders. If your swingarm pivot shaft breaks like Ty's did. You can order one from Suzuki/Kawasaki for $41.00 or have Bert's Supply (local machine shop) in Ada build you a solid one for $27.50. It was a no brainer. We are going out to the shop to put the solid shaft in right now.
