Well guy's according to the USGS the river has seen alot of rain the past few days. Its up to 6 feet now. So that means no river for brent this weekend. But on the upside , I do plan to ride at prague lake monday. It should be dry enough for the sport guy's and muddy enough for us 4x4 guy's. Give me shout if you want to join.

Bob , It dont look like we will camp down at the river now. Sure we could camp, but the river wont let us go very far. You could camp in my back yard if ya like [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]. You still need to try out that new quad in four wheel drive.

Well this sucks....Maybe we should just scrap our plans altogether. I am not a fan of going to the river if you can not ride far. As for Prague I am NOT a mud fan. I hate cleaning my quad and cleaning my truck and cleaning my clothes and all kind of stuff. I also told James (the guy from Seminole) that we would be down there (Prior to reading Brents message). I am not sure what I am going to do. It all has to do with what everyone else does. Keith is supposed to go do a river check here in a few minutes but the dude on the news just said that more rain is coming tonight. Let me ask you guys this....and answer accordingly..What would you all think if we just got together for a meeting on the 5th so that we could meet with James. Lonnie and Brent would probably like to see trails at Seminole open. You guys let me know what you think. We could possibly meet him at the Prague trail system or somewhere else. Any ideas or alternatives?? Anyone? Please reply and stuff....notice that eloquence...please reply and stuff...I love using hooked on fonix.

i just checked the river and its not that bad. its up a little (no way its 6 feet) and muddy as hell but its ok. i think it should be fine by monday. the trails along side the river are high and dry. ok .. i lied about the 'dry' but they are passable.

I will still wait for your report on the river saturday . If you say " come to the river " we shall.

Lets just play it by ear for the next few days and see what happens. This " 6 feet " im talking about is the gauge at calvin. Down stream from you, so its very possible it may be alot deeper at calvin than at purcell. I really want to camp and ride . So keep me posted on the river. Id rather ride there than at prague.

Hey Guys,
I appretiate the offer to help us out down here in Seminole. We sure can use it.

Whether you decide to ride at the river or at Prague is fine with me, just let me know where you're gonna be and I'll be there - for sure.

If we can pull this off and get trails at Seminole, we'll have a Grand Opening Party and all you guys will be invited. I can even pull some strings so's you guys can ride and camp for free during the Grand Opening weekend. (I have some clout here in Seminole that I ain't told you about yet, but I will when we meet in person).

Anyway, just let me know where you'll be riding, what time to meet you, and I'll be there.

D@mnit! I'm riding on Monday, whether mother nature likes it or not! Where I ride remains to be seen I guess.

I've got 16 lbs of hamburger that needs buns, and mouths. Then there is all the beer......mmmmm....sweet, sweet beer....But I digress.


If those trails down the side of the river are open, they go quite a ways, and are enought to keep me occupied for several hours.

 

We will ride this weekend mike. I dont remember much of the trails at the river, but we could probably get by. I guess thier will be plenty of water to knee board on
