Guys--
I just joined and was reading your posts about the 4th. Why not CROSS the Red River and ride at Meunster. We were there last week and the Red River was down quite a bit. It seems all this rain has missed them. I think 3 or 4 of us are going Monday. I know for sure my wife and I will be there. Just a thought.
See attached link for you to view about the Red River Trails.

Just talked to Keith and he said that the river looked pretty decent when he pulled out to go to Murray this morning. I think that Monday it should be okay. Thise of us who arrive Sunday evening may not have a lot of crossings but I think that by Monday it will be okay. I know that I have seen it drop pretty quickly in one week. I think we should be okay. I really think it will be okay (based upon Keith's report of 4:00 PM 07/03/2004).

OK...Well, I'm getting ready to head out to Eufala until Monday morning.

If there is a change of plans, or location...Somebody give me a call please?

I would hate to be sitting at the river all alone with a bunch of raw meat. Coyotes love that.

Cell is 405-412-3077

Thanks fellas...I'll see you Monday.

Just found this post on the forum and thought I would join in. We ride mostly at the river at the river at Purcell, and try to go to Little Sahara as often as possible. We're looking for new places to ride (I also sand drag at Atoka occassionally ). Anyways, cool deal might try to go to the river Monday if anyone else is going!!!!

Zilla..........

Do you have any info on the river level at Purcell as of Saturday evening? Any idea how deep the crossings are? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I didn't go up by there yesterday, but the day before it was up pretty good. Sand is pretty limited, mostly water. Can't say how deep the crossings are, but probably deep enough! Maybe we will meet up with you guys on Monday.

Guys,
Things are looking up for the Seminole trails. We met with Bob, Brent, Shane, Tyler, Lonnie and a host of other ATV enthusiasts on Monday and were blown away by their committment to help us get ATV trails down here in Seminole. You guys are greatly appreciated and we're looking forward to your aid in making Seminole's trails some of the best in the state. With the Central Ok ATV club's help, Seminole will soon be the most traveled trails around.

I just want to say that all the guys we met with Monday were willing to do whatever it takes to help us out - I just wish everyone had their enthusiasm. Thanks for the help guys!!!

James

I will be going to Buena Vista, Colorado for a few weeks. If anyone gets up that way, give me a call and we will ride some mountain roads. A friend went up over the 4th of July weekend and said all the passes were not yet open. He said it was the most snow he had seen this late in a few years. I will be there until Aug. 16th so all the passes should be open before I leave. Will take some pictures and share them when I return.

If anyone gets up there, give me a call on my cell 405-620-4166.
