OK, well that's cool. Like I said my "opinion" doesn't mean much - it was just a suggestion.
But I do appreciate the clarification (I learn somethin' new everyday - when I'm payin' attention) hehe.
However, if you'll hold your next meeting at the Broken Spoke, I'll buy everyone a round of ? (coke, pepsi, beer or whatever they drink). Now, who can turn down a free round? Plus, it's easier for me to find bein' an out-of-towner and all.
I hope you know I'm just kiddin' around here - except for the part about buying everyone a round - I meant that!!

You guys are a riot
Mike,
The "other" suggestion I was going to make was NOT to hold the meeting at the Crab Shack
Keith,
I gotta watch out for you - you seem dangerous. :0)
I'm not a big fan of "pig in a pit", but I can certianly cook a mean burger and dog. And a keg - that's what I serve best.
Tyshark9,
Well, I would if'n I owned a quad, but I don't. I just like hangin' out here "botherin'" you guys. But, I'm still up for dogs and beers.
Anywhere a beer can be found, a beer can find me!
James

Was your quad turned on?
I could go tomorrow morning, or Friday morning, either place is good to me. I haven't ridden in a loong time! I can't ride this weekend due to family in town and my brother in laws reception this weekend.

Well guys, the Lake Board has approved (by ONE vote) opening the trails at Sportsman Lake, but they approved to open the trails to the EQUESTRIAN RIDERS, hikers and bicyclists, but NOT the ATV riders. BUT, it’s not over yet.
The Lake Board can only “recommend” to the City Council that the trails be opened to the equestrian riders and exclude the ATVs. They have no actual power to make decisions. Ultimately, the “City Council” will make the final decision.
If you’re within driving distance, I strongly urge you to attend the City Council meeting which will be held on Tuesday, August 10th at 6:30 pm in the Seminole Public Library located at 424 N. Main in Seminole.
If you can’t make the meeting, then I urge you to call our Mayor, City Manager and City Councilmen. If you can, call EVERY one of them. If they get swamped with phone calls supporting the ATV trails, it is more likely they’ll at least make the trails multi-use trails that would allow ATVs.
Even if you can make the meeting, call them anyway. The more calls they get the better it will be for us.
Here are their names and contact numbers:
Mayor Billy Choate – (wk) (405) 382-2280
City Manager Steve Saxon – (wk) (405) 382-4330
Councilman Chayne Fisher – (h=home) (405) 382-5511 (wk=work) (405) 382-0585
Councilman DD Patterson – (h) (405) 382-2805
Councilman Bill Wantland – (h)(405) 382-5068
Councilman Terry Thomason – (h) (405) 382-5347 (cell) (405) 380-7337
Councilman Matt Rose – (c) (405) 612-1903
Councilman Mike Downey – (c) (405) 382-7663
We have NOT lost this project guys. We have a REALLY good chance of getting the trails changed to include ATVs if everyone will call and continue to email me your support letters (email: harmony@okplus.com).
Support your right to ride,
James
