RAIN RAIN RAIN.
I am sick of this rain. My river will never go down at this rate. If anyone is up to it , meet us at the Eufala Dam saturday about 11 am. We are planning a trip that morning and staying at a motel that night. The town we are staying at is Brooken. Most of you have my phone # if you need more info

Gordon,
The issue of allowing the equestrian riders to expand their trails into the proposed ATV trails area was table until next month's meeting - which is what we were hoping for. Now, we have 30 days to get as many people as possible to support the ATVers.
Wanna make a trip to Seminole next month?

Hey guys. Thanks for the welcome. Has anyone else had a problem accessing www.atvconnection.com, the last few days? Every time I tried to go here it would just take me to a search engine. That is why it has taken me awhile to respond. I am just glad it is working now. Some of you guys that are wanting to ride this weekend, where are you wanting to ride at and exactlly when(day and time). I live in Seminole and would love to take a ride this weekend. It will be my last ride before I start to college. I would like to ride my Banshee, but I dont like to take it through water that is over a few inches deep, because I dont want to damage the engine that I have spent so much money on. That is why I cant go to the river around here with all the rain we got today. Does anyone have anywhere to ride that is not trials, but there is not alot of deep water(such as the river)? I would love to go to a river or somewhere like that that does have alot of water. If not I could ride my Beartarcker or my Rancher, just about anywhere. Yall just let me know when and where and I will let you know if I can make it.

Travis,
Yes the forum here was down for some time but it looks like theyhave their tech problems ironed out now. I can tell you not to be discouraged as we ahve been using this forum for almost a year and that is the frist time I have seen any down time on this board. I am really glad that you and all of the new members are on board for this. I had originally planned to get some mail out tonight but I had a wreck this morning and have been busy getting that straitened out. So look for moew mail soon and an updated club directory.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
As most of you are aware I have just sent out the most recent copy of the current club directory. This has contact information for our newest members and I think it would be great if we sent them some sort of welcome mail. I know Mike has already sent a welcome via the Forum and I thank you for that Mike.
That being said, I think we should have a general meeting as soon as possible. This will give the tenured members a chance to meet the newer ones and it will also allow us to have a meeting to make up for the one that a lot of people were not able to make on July 31.
Again, James Hale, David Hoffmeier, and John Carlisle are more than welcome to attend the meeting.
As always, I value your input as to the date and time of the meeting. Any evening after 5:00PM is good for me. Like the date, the meeting location is also open for discussion. In the past we have always had the meetings in the Purcell/Lexington area and that is fine with me but I am always open to new suggestions.
That being said, please let us know if an alternative meeting site would be the most beneficial for all involved.
I thank you for taking the time to review this and as always I look forward to your input. I prefer E-mail but if you prefer, you may respond here on the forum. Thank you.
Respectfully,
Bob

Bob, we all understand that "things" happen, but WHY would you call "her" a wreck? We can't all look as pretty as you in the morning you know. Plus, we also understand that the girls all get prettier at closing time. Just remember her the way she looked when you THOUGHT she was pretty. HA!
On a more serious note:
Since this is the first meeting with the new club members from Seminole, how about a "centered" location to meet? I suggest (for what it's worth) a location that minimizes travel for everyone in the club (with the exception of Gordon - he's just gonna have to move up here and become a bonified Okie / Ha! just joshin' ya Gordon).
I'll leave it up to you guys - what would be a centered location between OKC, Purcell and Seminole?
James (just spoutin' and such)

There isn't a free (and legal) riding area in OKC that I know of. (Draper costs $2 a day, but not everyone wants to spend that, and it will be very crowded at 5 in the afternoon). .
We like to ride before/after/during the meetings (kind of the point ). Purcell is free, and there is a pretty good variety of terrain for all quad types and riding level/style, not to mention lots of space for parking, cooking etc. There are also no rules concerning helmets, beer, BBQ, etc. down there.
This is usually why we have it down there. But if someone has a better idear, I'm up for it.
Just my $0.02
