Default which quad to get???? help please.....

Hi all,
I'm looking to buy a quad and am not sure which would be the best one for me. First off i'm about 210lbs and just under six feet tall. This would not be my first quad as i've had 2 86 Suzuki 250 quadracers and didnt think they were too bad but i need a little more power. What do you think is the best quad for the $2500-3000 price range. I'de prefer a 2 stroke but if the better quad happens to be a 4 stroke i would consider it. Any and all opinions and advice is appreciated.

well if you are talking about only spending that much, yamaha makes the blaster that is two stroke and is under 3,000 and than honda makes the 250 ex and 300ex which i belive cost under that. Also the blaster doesnt have reverse but is really light.

Sorry Guys but I don't think the blaster is for a 210 lb guy that wants a little more power. That's amost my weight and I'm 3" shorter and the stock blaster ran fine, but felt a little small to me. It ran fine, not fast.

If You Want 2 stroke and power then spend the $ on a banshee and get something in good shape even if you have to over budget a little.

Hey Polaris still Makes 2 strokes right? Please Pardon my Ignorance.

If you look around, you should be able to find a banshee with aftermarket pipes for your price range.

I was a 2 stroke purist for a long time and still love them, but especially for a quad you should consider some of the 4 stroke sport models. They are nimble and powerful. I recently rode a Kawi KFX400 and it runs effortlessly, weight is not an issue on this machine to me.

I agree with Chief, 4 stroke would be the way to go, but your price range is really limiting.

Hey Chief, haven't I seen you somewhere else before? CT maybe.
