I was wondering if anyone knew of an atv club in bay city mi, if so how could i contact them

Im not sure but I dont think MATVA is around anymore, and the other club?

Better not try and protect your God given right to defend your character against the slander's of a few other non members in their site, or the higer-ups may ban you for trying. I have a HISTORY of not taking any BS from bullies, I dish out what comes my way.

I was one of the folks that helped originate that club 5 years ago, im also responsible for the many memberships on that site. HOWEVER,

I've seen more HIGH profile ORV folks leave that site in the last year than at any other time in this clubs 5 year history. There is a REASON for this. There is also a REASON why they cant get their membership numbers higher than 250-300 total members in a 5 year span for. I've discussed the membership numbers several times with the past President and HOW to increase them, all to deaf ears. If things dont change real soon for the better within that club, I suspect that I too, will be another high profile ORVer that will venture on to another avenue headed in another direction, other than SOUTH.

Lot of good things about the most members though.

Most all of the MEMBERS are GREAT folks and they are even better on the trail. Most on that site would go out of their way to help you out on the trail.
Most of the members are very giving folks too.

 

so you (MUDDY4LIFE) were a member of one or both of these clubs, i am really just looking for more places and people to ride with, i am the only one that i know that has 4x4 wheelers

Yes, I helped [very MUCH I might add] to start both these clubs. I think we formed MATVA way back in 1999 or so. Things were NOT going in the direction that many members thought it should with MATVA, thus we started up our own club and named it ATV Off Road Club of Michigan.

You dont have to join a club to ride. I know some folks that are not members of any club and we still let them ride with us. I dont participate in to many of the ATVOC functions anymore because of the garbage that goes on with some of those in charge of the club. Many others share my same story. I would'nt let that stop you though.

Im the [ORV Safety Director] for the Mich Off Road Safety Assoc and perhaps the club dont like my aggressive attitude towards the misgivings that others throw in the direction of our sport. If nobody speaks up and defends what they believe in within our sport, than we'll all lose in the end. I DO speak up.

If you want to ride, they are a pretty good club to ride with. MANY 4x4 ATVs in this club too.

By far, if you are looking for riding companions, the ATVOC would be my choice. Besides, im not even sure if MATVA is even around anymore.

Just cant defend your own character in the Forums on their website without the fear of being banned. When a MAN is not allowed to defend his own honor and character, he has little left.

I'd check out their site at www.atvoffroad.net and see what you think. It dont cost a dime and you will definately meet some really good folks to ride with.
