Sprockets for Warrior
#1
Can anyone here give me a little help??
1. What are the stock sprokets on a Warrior (2001)?
The fastest I've gone on my Warrior so far is 59mph, but that was with my old dunlop 22x10-9's which were worn out pretty good. I have new 22x11-9 Razr's on the back now and haven't had the opportunity to retest for top speed. Not easy to test as I don't have many good straights in my area.
2. What, if any, speed gains would I get by changing either the front sprocket(larger), the rear sprocket(smaller) or both, and what teeht #'s would I require to see any gain in top end? Which one is easier and cheaper to change? I don't have a lot of money to blow on mods (the wife would prolly kill me if she knew i was even thinking about it!!!).
I like the takeoff on the Warrior right now, so I don't want to loose too much of that. I may not even bother with it, since I don't often get to open the Warrior up on long straights ...
I guess the real question I have is: What change in speed is made per tooth per sproket?
Long winded, I know!!
Thanks in advance...
