Rubicon Tires?
#1
What are your opinions on buying a set of tires for a new Rubicon?
All of them would be on C-series aluminum with spacers:
4 - 28X12.00X12 MudLites
4 - 28X12.50X12 Outlaws
4 - 27X12.00X12 Outlaws
2 - 28X12.50X12 Outlaws rear &
2 - 28X9.50X12 OUtlaws front
May add a performance kit to help turn them. Any help guys?

I have 26x10 and 26x12 gators on my own rubicon and they work very well.I would not go too wide on the front as steering could become very harsh and clearance may be a problem. You may find a lot of power loss going to 28" tires as well.

i got the 26 inch outlaws for my rubicon. they raised it about 2 inches over stock if not more. ride was not affected much. power was effected some, it bogs down real low then spins when the motor and tires catch up to each other.

I also have 26x10x12 and 26x12x12 gators on my rubicon, I love them, handling and ride was not effected to much. I notice I have to put my quad in low range for real deep mud where as before with the stock tires I kept in in high range. 27" or 28" tires may take away to much power, I can tell a difference with my 26" gators.

Well, I bought 27X12X12 Outlaws front and rear. I was advised by "the powers that be" aka High Lifter that Mudlites are not for the type of riding I do. All out mud and water, as little trails as possible between mud holes. The 28's would sap a little too much power but I need the wide tires up front for all of the deep water riding. They should work out pretty good. I have plenty of experience with the Laws. I will probably add the power kit and clutch kit later to give her a little more go.
Thanks for the input guys. Much appreciated.
