Explanation of tire dimensions??

Rim diameter needs to match the tire, in your case a tire that needs a 10" dia rim will fit on 10" dia rims that are of a different width. By changing rim width you only change the contact patch width of the tire after it is mounted.
So...by using a narrow rim the tire will have a slightly more narrow contact with the ground and if you use a wider rim the tire will have a slightly wider contact patch with the ground, using the same air pressure.

I have a trx450r that is a 2004 and when I rev it higher it makes a grinding noise what could that be, and it doesn't mater the speed and r the gear it just maters the rev or rpm's need help
