So if I understand that properly, after rebuild, when you apply power the clutch now slips? Did this start right after the rebuild? If so, I would think something is not assembled properly. Did you use the proper number of clutch plates, and in the right sequence? Is the cable adjusted properly and routed correctly?

yes it started right after the rebuilds. and it a centrifugal with a basket clutch, and i only replaced the centrifugal clutch and just cleaned up and oil the basket clutch. and went i pick up the back tire it engages and move but the second you put pressure against the back wheels it it slips and doesn't move.

My suspicion is that something was not installed correctly. Maybe you have the steel and fiber plates in the wrong order, or the springs are not torqued down fully?

Sounds like the old friction plates you reused are either oil saturated or worn out causing the slipping.Vesrah Friction Plates for Suzuki LT230GE Quadrunner 230 85 86 | eBay
