What kind of rims do you prefer?

I am in the market to purchase a new set of rims (and tires too) for a 2004 Honda Foreman ES. Would you prefer Steel, Chrome or Cast Aluminum and why? Thanks for your help!

probably the best value in wheels right now, is the ITP C series, cast aluminum wheel... the DNA's & other new cast wheels all look nice & are strong & light ... IMO... I'd stay away from any steel wheel, chrome or other wise...aluminum is the only way to go... most of the "better" tires, are heavier than the stock ones, & using aluminum wheels will help retain more of the power & acceleration, by keeping the weight of the rotaional mass down... I have several sets of ITP Magnum Billet wheels, they are very light, & strong, but not very true, & expensive, I wouldn't reccommend them... the Douglas wheels are also good... buy the medium to heavy weights ( thickness ), unless you are small & don't plan on doing anything radical or aggressive... or are looking for a very light rim, just for drag racing... one of my favorite wheels right now are the ITP pro Baja's... very strong, super light, reinforcing rings both inside & out... I wish the made them in 12"...

Douglas .190s or even stick with your stock. I guess If you just want a Good looking cruzer wheel the c-series are ok? but as far as holding up in ruff terirran they DONT! unlike the Maxxis that I beleave only has a cast center (You might wanna look into? they might be a better choice?) The ITP's are full cast. This means that they dont give, They crack and if bent there is NO bending back. I lost two rims on one rock! One rim was total trash(Cracked), and the other just had a small bend but could not be fixed and wouldnt hold a bead so was trash also. Ive even seen the edges chip off and have had the bolts loosen up on mine and so has a buddy. Unlike reg. alum or even steel, Cast wheels are made from a mold like auto rims and I beleave really arent ideal for Off Roading. ITP makes a lot of good products but i would pass on this one!
