Default Radials vs: Bias tires

I have a 2002 Yamaha Big Bear 400 4x4 and need tires. Currently have the OEM maxxis. Good tires but was wondering how radials perform in a similar AT pattern that came with this machine. Thanks in advance for responses.

Default Radials vs: Bias tires

Radials lay down a larger contact patch, becaue the sidewall gives more than a bias ply. Plus, the radial sidewall isn't as vulnerable, because it gives when a rock presses on it, where the bias doesn't.
