Default Rincon tires

I really like the ride of my stock radials but am concerned with the durability of the thin sidewalls. Also the tires have no protection for the rim when riding over rocks. I don't want an exclusive mud tire having been down that rode with Titan 589's on my previous bike and hating the ride, steering, and smoothness on the trail. I also hear the Rincon fender brackets rub on larger tires. Will 26" tires rub on stock wheels? Looking at running Mud lites in 26x10x10 all around but can't decide between those or radials like the ATR's or Bighorns. What's everyone else running on their Rincons and do they rub?
