I wanna get new tires for my Recon but I don't want them to weigh anymore than the origional stock tires. Which is around 14 to 18 lb (I think)
Can anyone make some suggestions?????

Well, problem with that is, usually more agressive a tire means more rubber, which means more weight.

Also take into consideration sizes. Obviously larger tires will weigh more.

In regards to which tire, that would depend on the type of riding you do. If you like the swamps, mud, and muck I like the Blackwater tire.

I just got off the phone with JL Products 800-233-2637 they said that the 27x9x12 Blackwaters weigh 24lbs a piece! Phew!

Well, for gnarly tread, usually you have to sacrifice weight. For example, if I want 44" boggers on my GMC Truck I'll definitely have to sacrifice weight compared to a 36" tire.

Hope this helps.

Try the Sur Traks, they are very good mud tires, I think they weight about 19 pounds apiece. Call Rocky mountain ATV & ask them.
