Default Razr 2's

I heard that the Razr 2's are only good on dry hard-packed dirt, is this true? If not, what do they hook up on, or what do they not hook up on well?

Well I read an article in ATV action mag....they said that the razr 2's were suppose to be pretty good in mud. but i asked the same question a while back and someone said that they had some razr 2's wich didn't do squat in heavy mud.. I do know that the wider tread pattern on the 2's are suppose to clean out real well. but just from what I heard..If you plan on being in mud quit a bit then the razr 2 are not the best tire to get the job done.with...hope that helps a little...

A lot of GNCC guys run them, they must do ok in those conditions, which is often mud.

I think I read in the Yamaha forum that the Razr 2's don't slide very well. The current trend is to run Razr 2 fronts and Razr rears.

They don't slide well I'm sure - big lugs - but the extra traction would be great for GNCC when you don't need to slide like MX style nearly as much.

I think the guy that made the post was referring to GNCC. He said they tend to make your front end push so everyone was using the Razr instead of the Razr 2. I've got 22" Razrs on my Raptor for the winter and they'll be coming of as soon as is dries up this spring because they don't slide at all.

They must perform just like my Holeshot XCR's ... I know that it is almost impossible to get them to break loose rather than wheely. I come out of turns after trying to get them to slide and hit the throttle and the front comes up immediately. It really is hard to ride that way.

I'm looking forward to getting some Kendas I think. Or maybe regular Razr's.
