TCS or Elka
#1
Looking to buy a triple rate, zps, reservoir, compression adjustable set of shocks in the near future for GNCC racing and woods riding.
I can get Elka for a good price or I can get TCS for $80 cheaper.
I know everyone is running Elkas now and will say to spend the 80 bucks. The 80 bucks really isn't the problem at all. Curious if anyone has ridden both or has owned both, and their opinions. Anyone liked the TCS better? And why?
I'm a C class rider, hoping to be B class in the not too distant future. Will I even be able to tell the difference if both are setup properly?
OK, another ?
I don't have the money to get 2 rear shocks really. Can I get away with an Elka dual rate, compression/rebound adjust shock, maybe even with hi-low dampning, and run it both in the woods and on the MX track. I'm a C class rider at both. I imagine I can turn the **** enough to make one shock do both pretty well for my purposes. Opinions?
Thanks in advance.
