Just bought myself a used 1999 Kawasaki Bayou 220, but part of the reason I got a good price was that the tires are almost gone. I figured that shouldn't be a problem, as I have seen many places offering ATV tires. But damn it if I can find much selection in these sizes, and they are always more expensive than the more common sizes. I thought the Bayou 220 was a hot seller and that there were lots of them out there. Why then would tire selection be such a pain in the ***? The tires that came with it were the factory supplied 489s. I'd like to just get the same thing. But I can't even find these sizes in the same pattern!! As it stands now, I'd have to run Dunlops on the front and Timberwolfs on the rear. Can anyone tell me where I can find my sizes in the original 489s,...and hopefully not for too bad a price?
