Do you have compression adjustment (an adjustment on the rez if you have rez's)? This is what you adjust to soak up landings. The spring, or springs, is/are for preload (Ride hieght). If you are too low you will bottom, use more spring tension. If your shocks are around 12 to 18 months old with alot of hours on them then you may need a rebuild. Are you landing on the down side of the jumps? If not, then landing flat or on the face of jumps may be your problem. Another question is, are your shock set up for you? Did you buy the shocks from someone else? Later.....

Is the compression adjustment a screw or bolt(on the res.)? if so what way do i turn it? I bought the quad used so i dont know how many hours are on the shocks.the front are ohlins but look pretty old and the back shock spring is almost tightend all the way but still bottoms out.and for the jumps i do a lot of 4-5' high jumps with no landings but thats not the only times they bottom out. They also bottom on jumps with landings.

The comp. adjustment on my rez is a flat head screw. Screw the **** or screw in for more comp and out for less comp. Your spring adjustment is almost maxed out and you are still bottoming out. It sounds like you need a rebuild $$$$$$.
