Last years problems. IF, if you get one you dont like, guess what? Return to vendor for replacement. Maxxis is good about that. I actually was worried that mine were out of round...well...I listened to an "expert" who said I needed to run 7-10 pounds of air or they'd fall off the rims bwa haaa haaa..I'm at 4 now and it rides like a cadilac.
Had it up to about 50, on a rough trail sunday and smooooth as silk. Look at the pics on my page.
There is just no way a normal tire could have taken a hit to the sidewall like that. And survived.
They really work fine in light mud, the ONLY time I got stuck this weekend was getting hung up- you know high centered a rut and it was too wide for tire bite- not the tires fault.
You know looking at the pics on the websites I was worried the tread wasn't deep enough, man, was I surprised when UPS dropped them off, I thought they were some kind of mud tire. Great on all the trails I was on. Rocks, logs, mud, water, sand/gravel mix, leaves, loose dirt. Really an excellent trail tire. Really happy with the tire. Second choice was kenda bear claws-

I'm toooooo old for this crap...but....I had a chance to get on the pavement (no-no in ohio) and rip down the road, I hit 55 before I ran out of courage.
Smoooooooooth on the Bighorn radials. Very nice ride. Much nicer than the stockers, which I had on the highway several months ago top speed maybe 35.
No lurching or scary rolling, just a nice ride. Its even smoother at 30-40. If I was going to make a habit of this, I'd have them balanced.
