if i were you man, i wouldnt go with chains. chains have a habbit of comming off at high speeds. i dont know if you know the effects of a chain flying off at high speeds, so ima gonna tell you. it will rip right threw every wire and every piese of tubing and any piese of metle within reach of the chains. if you do deside to go with chains, dont go all out with them, cuz u will get hurt

I use 15 inch pickup chains. You might need to shorten or extend them. Look for them at a pawn shop or something for 10 or 15 bucks. Make sure they are wide enough- not less than 10 or 11 inches.

Thanks for this website info. Only place I found so far that has 26x9-12, 26x9-12 chains, but I am waiting to see if they will ship to Canada. My ride is Kawi 03 650KVF . I plow snow with it, using a 60" powerblade plow (www.powerblade.com) on a 300-foot country driveway and highway entry, so chains are a must.

Actually I’d question if you really need the chains at all (unless you are dealing with icy surfaces). I currently use 27” 589’s and have no trouble at all pushing snow (with a Grizzly), although I only have a 48” blade. I did get chains for my stock tires when I bought my snow plow but later found out that they were completely unnecessary as the quad has no trouble with traction when in 4WD. I plow a rocky farm lane regularly that is 6/10ths of a mile long and have also plowed a neighbors asphalt driveway on occasion that is several hundred feet long (on a rather steep hill) and had no problems without using chains...
