I made this topic because I wanted to know what everyone's opinion was about their vampires. I just got 24X9-11 and 25X12-11 vamps on my 300 honda 4x4 yesterday. I'm already going places where I never thought possible. They work great. They are a bumby ride but that will get better once I let some air out. We had to put about 20psi in the front and about 25-30 psi in the back to make it bead on the rims. I'm going to leave about 10 psi in both tires. Is that about normal for vamps? Well once again...I LOVE MY VAMPIRES! In my opinion they are the best mud tire money can buy! Let me know what you guys think about them.

I am currently saving money to put 26x10x12 Vampiers on my Arctic Cat 500. Dirt wheels say they are the best mud tire..My freinds have them and they go threw stuff i wish i could (im on stock tires) The only proublm i have heared about them is when you go down a dirt road for instance your rear end will start to ride up on you (for 4x4 models)
Tell me how you like your tires...It should tell you how much psi you can run

Don't you mean 27-10-12? I'm planing on getting 27-10-12 vampires or 26-12-12 swamper but I will wait till i have enough money to get the wheel so I can quickly change back to the stock tires for the camp so I don't damage the trail as much.

What do you mean by "ride up on you"?

I think he means that the rear end will slide around alot and possibly come around on you. You have to be cautious while riding in gravel or loose dirt. Oh and I run 12 psi in my vamps. What do you guys run?

Is there anyway you (or anyone else) can get me a picture and/or measurement of the true height/width of the 24x9x11 Vampire? I would really appreciate it.

My e-mail address is quad_man@hotmail.com if anyone can get me the true measurment. If you have a picture you can send (e-mail or snail mail), let me know too.

Thanks again.

I measured my 24X9-11 vamps and they were right at 25 inchs. tall including the grips. And a little bit over 8 inches wide. I hope that helps.

I have 25x13x10, and skinnier on the front, Vamps on my Xplorer 300 4x4. They work like a charm. I haven't really had a chance to get my own measurements on them yet. I have noticed that they tend to want to pass you and/or sway a bit on gravel roads and loose stuff. Also I usually run about 5-7 psi in mine and that seem to be plenty.

*************CAUTION!!!**********************

Some of my friends have had bad experiences with the vamps. both have 97' honda 300 2x4's that are all stock but the vamps. It has broke the drive shaft and messed up the rear gears on one. It broke the front U joint on the axle busting the case on the other one. Just wanted to let you know!! those are the only 2 people i know with vamps too.

Finally!! A Honda has broken! Sorry for the excitement but now I can go tell all my Honda lovin' friends that Polaris isn't the only malfunctioning quads :-) I'm going to go kiss my Vampies for creating such a problem for those Honda folks. I'm just kidding so don't kill me, please.
