rear shock rebuild
#1
I got new shocks for the front of my banshee, and now I want to do something with the back. I am thinking about just rebuilding my stock rear shock. Where is the best place to get this done? Denton racing, TCS, works? What should I have done to it? I've heard you can get a new shaft in it to increase travel. Is this true?

i had mine done through k andk atv it cost 450.00 dollars it has dual springs and the shaft is changed go to www.kandkatv.com and it will tell all about the conversion and the price these people are good people but expect to wait awhile on the shock it takes along time to get it back but it was worth it

I just sent my rear shock from my 98 Banshee out to Works for a complete rebuild. To replace the shaft and everything inside is costs $370 for the adjustable version and $270 for the non-adjustable version.
Works is california somwhere, so maybe you'd be able to save some time on the shipping if you sent yours there.
