I was looking at some Mudrunners the other day in the showroom and the 26x9x12 looked to be 2" taller than the 26x12x10?????

When the tires are inflated are they equal?

For a matched set do you need to purchase 25" front tires?

I am confused over this one.

I have 27" Mud Runners and they are the same height all the way around when inflated to equal pressures. The fronts are 9" wide and the rears are 12" wide. There is however a big change from 1 lbs to 7lbs by about 2". I run mine at about 7lbs so I can get as much ground clearance as possible. They are a great tire in the mud as well as hardpack.

Right on QAMudder!

After the tires were inflated they were the same height.
