I live in Pa and get snow and wonder what is the best snow tire? I was wondering if sand dune tires would go good in snow. And what kind would be good.And how mich does the traks are for the back.

 

I too live in PA. I have been looking into some winter tires for my banshee. I really dont tinhk sand tires are a good idea unless we get over 2 feet of now all at once. Realtors are most likely going to be my choice. They have a similar tread to sand tires but are made to run in the dirt. You wont have to worry about breaking off paddles like you would with sand tires.

jblough is right, there was a thread on here
some time ago about snow tires. It seemed
like most of the guys up north like the Realator.

 

10-4 on the Realators, I just did a poker run with a guy from Maryland who loves them in the snow...mentioned that he likes to reverse direction to keep the rears from digging in.

Here in Wisconsin most of the trails in winter are so packed down they are ice so what i did is studded the crap out of my stock 400EX tires with ice screws. They hook up awesome and i love them.
