Expensive 400ex a-arms
Hi, I was just wondering if any one could help me out with a problem that I am having. I have worn out the a-arm bearings on my 400ex. My a-arms are stock. At first I was just going to replace the bearing, collars, and seals, but when I found out the cost, I realized that I might be able to get a set of aftermarket a-arms for that much. I don't want to spend alot of money, however I would like to find a set of a-arms for my machine that match up to stock specs. I don't want to go longer, taller, lower, just keep it the same as stock. Stock specs are perfect for the type of riding that I do. Also, I don't want to replace my break lines. I have see a couple of other posts on this page for people asking the same question, but there have been no replys. I hope that some one out there can help me. Thanks.

Check out the armadillo chromoly arms at rockymountainatv, those should do the trick. They are $475 and come ready to bolt on and with camber adjustable ball joints that are replaceable. They will also include much stronger tierods too. I'm not sure about the 400EX, but I got away with using the stock brake lines for +2 arms, and if they don't work you could always try the steel lines from magicracing.com for only $80 or so. It didn't hold me back that much on the trails, and the front only came even with the aftermarket rims in the rear with a stock axle. You can also order them in stock length if you wish to stick to your original decision. Good luck with your decision!
