When I get ready to reshod my Kawasaki Lakota what wheels should I get? My stock steel wheels have a few dings and dents from rocks and roots but haven't leaked yet. I ride mostly wooded trails and some gravel pits with some sand and jumps.

Steel are more durable but are also heavier.

Under what conditions would aluminum and steel be the best to use? I'm also going to get some new wheels and I want something that'll last and look good. How much longer do the steel wheels last over the aluminums in the same riding conditions?

Steel. Every time. At least if you bend the side of the rim, you can always hammer it back out every now and then to where you can get the tire to reseat. With aluminum, broke is broke. Aluminum does have its other advantages though.
