Default Itp C Type-5 Rims

I have decided to purchase 26" 589's. I have a 05 Foreman ES. What is the deal with ITP Cast Type 5 Aluminum rims? Can I use the rims that came with the stock tire? Is the weight I will save on these rims worth 320-350$?

yes you can use the stock rims. the ITP rims are aluminum, probably weigh about the same, or even maybe a pound less than stock rims. they have a wider off-set, giving the quad a wider stance.

do the other brands have rubbing issues? alot of guys in the Polaris forum that have put larger tires on stock rims have complained about the tires rubbing on tierod ends and fender flares using the stock rims. you may have to add a wheel spacer.
