Hello fellas,
Was wondering if Super Swamper Vampires on the rear and TSLs on the front would affect anything on the Xplorer? My friend already has 26x9.5.12 TSL on the front. He was getting TSLs (26x12x10) for the rear too but when they came in it was for a 12 inch rim not a 10 inch rim. Boy was he pi##ed off. So, he ordered some Vampires for the rear because they say the 10 inchers are new and it would take a while for them to come in. Would this be a good combination??? He is worried that the Vampires would be taller than the TSLs on the front and may affect the ratio. It this true? Are all 26 inch tires 26 inches, no matter what the height of the grip is? Any imput would be appreciated. He is getting the Vamps Thursday. He is ticked to death. Thanks in advance.

The TSL's are easy to air up to increase the heigth of the tire...even if the vamps r taller u can air up the TSL's

I just put 25x9.5x12 super swamper tsl's on the front and 25x13x10 Vamps on the rear of my '00 Sportsman 500. They ride rougher than stock tires but the mudding capability is awsome!! My 25 Vamps were barely over 24" tall and my 25 Supers were 25" right on. I even aired up my Vamps to make up the diff. but it took about 13 psi to accomplish this. I hope this helps you out and good luck.

Thank you for the information. My Friend got them in last night and he Xplorer looks awesome. He is running 5 pounds up front (TSL) and 10 pounds in the rear (Vampires)to make up the difference in height. They measured exactly 25 1/2 inches some how, both of them. Kinda funny but, anyway, the psi was perfect. He took it mudding today, he said just the Vampires on the rear were amazing. He has been there many times before when he had his stock tires running 4wd all the time. He said he only had to use it twice. It is amazing. Well, thank you again for you comments.
