Got a nail hole in my tire. Will a standard car tire plug work to fix this? If not, any suggestions? Thanks.

Yes a standard plug will work. I've had one in a KQ tire for 2 years now with no problems.

The car repair will work great. T have a Timberwolf that had a nail hole, and I just had to go rideing that day. Had no repair kit, so I used a piece of nylon rope and roofing tar for a temperary fix, its been 2 years now and it still hols air.

make sure you use the plugs that look like shoe laces that have tar on them. I've found that those little rubber plugs are as useless as chicken **** on a door handle. We put seven of them into a buddies sidewall..........thre years ago. Believe it, or not.
