Would be for utility 4x4 ATV's, 400 and up.Is there such a thing? Have been told there is, one tire I have heard of is a Carlisle Badlands XTR. ATV use is some work, some sand dunes (like St Anthony), trails, some snow on occasion (not a lot), some mud (usually not too extreme). Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Luckily in the the desert southwest mud isn't the big factor, so that leaves out a whole bunch of mud tire choices that you would otherwise have to consider.
I run Holeshot ATR's on some light 12X7" rims. It will widen the bike considerably, and make it much more stable. Much more sporty ride. Excellent snow tire. It's a whole different bike with these on it!

I would say a radial construction tire with a larger contact patch such as the New Act/PXT /DU Wetlands by Carlisle/ITP.
The Badland XTR is a good all around tire but not so hot in the mud.

Love my DU Wetlands Radial. More impressed every ride. I took some decent photos for comparison to the stockers. My buddy with the 589s is regretting not going with the DUs. I might go with the 25s on a 400.
