Help with warn 424 Select

Default Warn 424 Select

Need help with warn 424 select. I can pull the **** to disengage but as soon as I let go it pulls back in. I have tried to adjust the cable but it does'nt help. Any help would be great.

Default Help with warn 424 Select

It sounds like you may have a bind somewhere. Make sure your cable is as kink-free as possible. Are the two ball bearings in the **** assembly sticking? If so, this may be keeping the **** from locking in place. Beware that these two bearings have a tendancy to drop out upon disassembly so be careful. If their sticking spray some silicone lubricant and lightly press them down with a pair of needle nose pliers until they free up.
