Input on tires!!
#1
I am new to this ATV thing and currently have a BF 750 and am thinking about doing some upgrades starting with the tires/wheels. I tend to run it on steep hills, small creeks, gravel roads, and some mud. I am sure this has been asked many times but what do you think would be the best tires to do this? Can I just change out the tires/wheels and not have to touch anything else? How far off will the speedo be?

Depends on how tall of tires you want. I have mudlites on my BF and they are a good all around tire. They do wear a little faster but they are a smooth ride on harder surfaces. They go through mud pretty good too.

I have a new B/F 750 also. I too am looking at tires. I keep hearing everyone rave about the mudlites. How are the side walls? It seems most people around here just play in the mud. Here in CA, that is a steep fine. Do the Mudlites work good for just trail use also? How are they with "Rock Crawling" type stuff? I mainly worry about sharp rocks and tree roots cutting sidwalls while aired down.
