Default 400 cc rocker arm question. How should it be?

Puttin my 400 Bayou back together and have a question about the rocker arms. The surface that rides against the camshaft, is it suppose to be flat or have a small curve to it. Reason I ask is mine, the one has a small curve to it and the other is flat (worn some in the middle with an edge on each side. So,,,,,,flat or curved?????????
