what numbers actualy matter on tires ?
#2
First number is the tire diameter; distance from ground to top of tire when the tire is sitting on a bike.
Second number is tire width; distance from one side of the contact patch to the other.
Third number is rim size; A tire will have a hole in it for a rim, the diameter of this hole is the rim size.
Your rims arent 22x11x9, especially considering there are not 3 numbers in a rim size and no rim for an atv measures 22" in any dimension.
For a rim there are two numbers, the first is the diamter and the second is the width. usually there is a third set of numbers expressed as a pair. ie: 3+5, which indicates the offset of the mounting surface of the wheel from the edges of it.
