Default Kenda Executioners or Swamplites??

i am just wondering what tire is best for my 03 big bear. i want 26" tires, but i am not sure of what rims yet. i do mostly trail riding so i want a smooth ride, but we end up coming face to face with mud holes, rocks, snow, and hill climbs and i want a tire that can do all these easily. i heard both tires are pretty smooth after a certain speed, but how do they hold up in these conditions. oh yeah, i ride 5-20 minutes each day so i want a really good wear for tires. show me some pics if you got one of these or both tires.

Default Kenda Executioners or Swamplites??

I just put the 25" Executioners on my Sportsman an so far I like them. They have a smooth ride over 10mph and one of the main reasons I bought them was because I was told they would wear like the Bearclaws. Check my photos for a pic of them...

NBsportsman, tell us some more about them when you get more miles on your executioners. are they heavy? did you notice any significant power loss on your sportsman? how deep are the lugs? are they ok at handling the trails? thanks a lot for any info...........450kodman

They seem to be the same weight as my old Rawhides and power seems to be the same. The 25x8x12 lugs measure 3/4" and the 25x10x12 lugs measure 1". I have about 400kms from last weekend on them and they are a decent trail tire as we ran fast logging roads, slimey mud rutted roads, sand base, wet shale rock and they handled great with no vibration or shake at speed. It's been raining here for the last five days so I hope to find some real mud this weekend. My neighbor dropped the big $$ and got new 25" mudlite XTR's for his Outty so bring on the mud.....

Well I have about 800kms on them now and I'm really impressed at what a good trail tire they are. Steering is light and the fronts hook up real good in the turns, noticeable in fast tight twistys, where the old RawHides would float and be unpredictable. I run 7lbs all around and don't find them rough at all where my buddy runs 4lbs in his 27" 589's and still finds his rough. The Executioners seem to have more flex to them like they are softer than the 589's. I was amazed at how good they were on wet rock as I climbed rock infested steep creek bed that I could not get up with the old RawHides. Also got into a fresh cutting and with all the rain we had the skidders had the roads chewed up rutted slimy mud and not a problem as the bike would go where pointed and when spinning would really throw the mud. Most of my riding is trail and so far am 100% satisfied with the tires. Still haven't had a chance to compare them to the Mudlite xtr's yet....

I just put on a set of Kendra Ex. this week end. They really look like a good tire, will not get to test them out for a couple of weeks from now. I put them on a 05 Honda 500 2 x 4.
